It's been a while since Ponystep hosted a party of our own, but NYE saw us hit East London in spectacular fashion.
They say good things come to those who wait, and its true. It took over 10 years to get Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan back on stage together, and its safe to say it exceeded all expectations. Teaming up with our friends at Melissa, Ponystep’s NYE party was insanely good fun. Palpable excitement pre-midnight, a world exclusive from MKS, a Melissa gifting area (which turned into something of a bunfight when people realised the shoes were a generous gift from Melissa!) and an incredible DJ line up including the legendary Mark Moore, Princess Julia and Jerry Bouthier.
“Arriving to an incredibly happy atmosphere where I was handed two unopened Red Stripe which I brandished like mini work out weights for most of the evening. Except I must have put them down at one point to make my Celine (Dion) T shirt into a crop top, dancing around in my Celine (Paris) pencil skirt to We Found Love and Girls Generation!” – Cozette McCreery of Sibling
“I loved the atmosphere, people had made an effort to look creative and yet had no attitude whatsoever, they were partying, mingling, having a good time in a free-spirited space with no codes but the enjoy yourself motto. As ever in Richard’s parties the mix of individuals was interesting, some old faces but essentially a new generation.” -Jerry Bouthier
“The atmosphere was amazing, fun as always… and scraping my boyfriend off the dancefloor and dragging his body home was quite funny, I guess! Ha – romance!” – Maarten van der Horst
“Well that was a night to remember… highlights? A room full of gorgeous friends, gorgeous music and of course the gorgeous MKS debuting. I get a warm tingly feeling every time I think of it.” – Princess Julia
